Hey group I have 2,1yr old 125 tao quads....................1st quad,put both away for winter and batts on charger,today went to try to start quad 1.hit start button and nothing.no clicks.nothing,both brake light switches work fine.will not start with remote either and box doesnt click when you unlock it..with key on,I can jump the starter and make it start and run and ride it.any ideas????? thanks.....................quad 2,same.both brake switches work fine,no start with switch.BUT this will start with remote and you can ride,,,,BUT,can not start by jumping statrter,will not start but will crank.any ideas??? been a mechanic for 45 yrs and the damndest thing Ive seen.If any one knows how to delete those remote starts,let me know thanks in advance

 

i find every season after sitting for the winter i have to cycle the key and all the switches several times to clear the corrosion out of them.. Then once it gets some use it works fine for the rest of the year

 

Both starter buttons were corroded ,took them apart and cleaned them and they work.One still has a bad remote start unit,which I went ahead and ordered since it was cheap as well as a new starter switch and a cdi box.may order some spare carbs too,,only 11 bucks on ebay did find one for 7 bucks on ebay too.
