I picked up a really cool old what I am guessing is a 50 cc quad. It is an Avanti and I know there is a Chinese newer version of this but I don’t believe this one is Chinese. The entire body is fiberglass and even the tires say avanti on them. It looks like a little race quad. Best I can find is it is from India. Has decent compression at 120. The wiring has been cut and spliced so many times it’s impossible to put back together. My biggest question is can I buy everything new electrical from stator to key wiring and boxes key switch everything from another brand 50 cc quad and replace everything on this one will it work? I know I won’t find original parts for it. Everything is stamped made in India. I can’t even find a photo on line of one. Thanks in advance for any help. The entire kill switch start button light switch and all is destroyed. I can’t tell if I can post pics of it here or not.

Welcome to the forums.
You can post pics, but they will have to be approved for new members. We were getting way to many scams and ads, so we had to do that. I don't see any pics that need approved, so go ahead and add some.
A decent picture of the engine may have helped more. Forget trying to get another harness to fit. A "bare bones" ignition system is your only hope, unless that engine is one used on other makes, and an upright cylinder two stroke is not promising. The only one I can think of was the old ETon. First you need to know if it is AC ignition or DC, or possibly a Suzuki 50 style magneto. Then, if there is a battery, how does it charge, two wires from alternator to rectifier, or three? Often, the remains of a badly hacked harness can yield a load of clues, drawing out each component and the colours of wires going from them, then joining, for example, red/white from fuse to red white at ignition switch on the drawing, will build up a wiring diagram.
