Im new and willing to learn

How do you know what kind of Air Filter goes on a gy6 150cc atv🤔. How do You know if you have a 2 stroke or 4. Is the reverse gearbox important to fix. How do you know if you have a long case or a short case.

First thing to learn is sticking loads of different posts up about the same thing annoys the rest of us!
Any air filter that physically fits can be used. Outside dia of carb bellmouth is most important, is it a flange or hose type fitting? Easiest, if it is a Redcat, is to get a Redcat filter assembly.
GY6 engines are four strokes, but if you are not sure on any engine, all modern 4 strokes have a valve cover on the cylinder head. The old side valve engines don't but, if it has a valve cover, it is a 4 stroke. (Stihl brushcutters excepted).
If it is stuck in forward gear and doesn't jump out of gear, you can use a light machine without reverse, plenty of small ATVs don't have reverse at all.
Measure the length of the case, I don't know the measurements but, if you need parts, the supplier will know them, and what to measure, whole case, or crank centre to sprocket centre.
