Default Need help with Apollo Blazer 9

I bought a Blazer for the kids 2 months ago. It got where it was hard to start and would die occasionally. Now, it won't start without a jump and dies if not given content fuel. I need ideas what to check. My knowledge is very basic. It seems we have power but it doesn't turn over. I thought the starter but I don't think the starter would affect the engine to continue to run. I considered the fuse but it will start if jumped. The battery doesn't seem to charge very well. Battery or perhaps the voltage regulator?

Clean the carb out, fit a new plug and if the battery won't charge from a charger, fit a new one. Once you get it running and starting check the battery voltage when running, should be about 13v and rising, may need to rev it a bit to get it rising, may not. If it stays the same or drops slowly, either the voltage reg or alternator is shot.
