So according to the wiring diagram shown, I should have continuity from the red/black wire at the cd boxi, through the stator to ground? Currently, it’s open. An I safe to assume this would cause my no start issue then?
Yes, there should be some resistance, often about 450 ohms but not open circuit. Double check by spinning engine on starter and seeing what AC voltage (if any) you get between red/black and earth.

Just tried it….Nothing from the red/black. I tried the Trigger wire just to make sure my meter works and it has a signal there.
Dead power coil then. Worth checking the black/red hasn't a break in it, when you remove the flywheel but it looks like you need a new stator, make sure it is single phase. Most "Honda clones" are three phase, though many only use 2 wires, earthing the third phase.

Right so it has to be the wiring, as you have replaced everything except the stator. I see it has the dreaded "remote box" on it, so that has to be number one suspect. Check that with ignition on and both kill switches set to run, the black/white to CDI is not earthed, assuming it is an earth to kill CDI.
