Default XY300 Gear Box Gear Sensor Switches

Hi all,

I have a 2008 XY300 UTV. Apparently I'm the only one on the planet that owns one. I ran into a problem where the only gear that show on the display was Low. High and Reverse would both show up as Neutral on the display. It didn't really bother me because I knew what gear I was in, but now I'm looking to sell and this is the only thing wrong with the UTV. I pulled the sensor/switches (there are 3) out of the gear box to see if I could fix it and one of them fell apart and broke. Anyway, I can't find this sensor harness anywhere and was wondering if anybody has seen one of these switches before. Thought maybe I could splice a new switch onto the harness. Right now the UTV won't start because the sensor harness also works as a neutral safety. I can always bridge the switch but then the display will only say Neutral and I'm really just trying to fix it. Pics attached. Thanks!

Never seen anything like that on a bike. It will be a standard electrical component, but could be for anything from a printer to a door lock mechanism. Never tried it, but you can do visual searches for photos of similar objects on line.

I tried that. It doesn't seem to be standard for anything in ATV world. I guess I'm just going to have to solder the switch to the open position and move on.

Just one possibility, back then most Chinese makers were still copying someone else's engine. If you could find out what it is a copy of, you may find the original uses the same switch. May not be an ATV, most were motorcycle/scooter engines.

Default Yup

Those parts no
longer exist. They were made for that machine and only the number of machines made. No spares no extras no parts for service or warranty. That’s how they do it.
