Hey guys thanks for the welcome. I don't think i'll be able to make it to purcell on the 9th cause of going to the beaver races on the 3rd. I have a couple buddies here in mustang that have been to the river in purcell a bunch of times and they said it awsome and also said it was sand but you don't need paddles..... is this correct because if I do get to go I have a set of paddles for the R. Anyways I can't wait to ride to ride with you guys and for the guy that sinks when he rides...lol need to learn to go fast over anything......lol...keep the shiney side up.....later....chris

Hey Chris, you don't need paddles at Purcell. There isn't a whole lot of the really soft stuff, so my stockers do just fine.

Sink 1 tank in the river and never hear the end of it. I really appreciate you reminding me because my wife is out of town, and I have no one at home to constantly remind me of my shortcomings. I don't know what I would do without you guys to help me remember the things that I try to put out of my mind. Not to worry, though. I will probably have trouble sleeping again, but will live.

I'll ride tomorrow if I can get the truck from my parents. I am going down there today to help set up a new fence on the new land they bought, and I will ask then. I'll post when I get back home.
