Has anyone put the Highlifter performance kit on a utility quad? I am wondering how much of a difference this will make. I would not expect any top speed difference, but maybe throttle response and quickness.

If so, what type of difference is it? Very noticeable. Worth $300+? I would hope that it would have some effect for as much as it is, but if it only makes a small difference, then what is the point. Any response is a good response here.

I put the kit on my "96" Foreman 400. The low and mid range power increase is very noticeable. I can get the front wheels off the ground in third gear. I plow alot of snow with it and the added power is definately a plus. Also, it sounds very coooool!! See the review in the product review section.

Andy,
i am putting mine on bit by bit, so far I have the K&N and The K&N prefilter and a swapped out the stock jet to a dynojet one, I and I have no conplaints, Throttle responce is much better, But most of the gain in the kit comes out of the IDS2 about $250.00 for my kitty. I hope to have one in the next mth or two, but so far I am more than pleased in what it has done

I was going to put the Highlifter Kit on my '98 Kawasaki Prairie, then I found that I could buy the same components (including the newer IDS two exhaust) from Rocky Mountain ATV (on the web) and saved a ton of money. I think I saved somewhere in the neighborhood of $70 total.
I'd say the power increase was marginal. I have noticably more low and mid range, however my upper range is about the same. My fuel economy has dropped slightly, but that was expected.
Buying the stuff from RM ATV made it worth the bucks.

I have put the performance kit on my bike. It made a big difference in the bottom end. Didn't do much for the mid or the top.

I agree with mikeames, I also bought my Ids2,K&N filter and jet kit fom www.rockymountainatv.com and saved about $80.00. I put these on my trx300fw and it made a noticable difference. The pipe made the quad sound good and it did'nt make it much louder than stock even with all 12 disc in. Highly recommend this upgrade.

This is a question for me, I got a brand new rancher, and in the future I thought about putting on the high proformance lifter kit. So i'll probably low on money and want this kit, is it truly worth it???
