do holeshots and turf tamers mix?

i just ordered some 18-11-8 turf tamer tires on douglas rims for my blaster.some kid i know is selling front holeshot tires on douglas rims.if i get these will they work good with the turf tamers?

I've been running that setup for a while. Seems to work pretty well. Come to think of it, most of the people I race with do the same thing. We ride either Honda 250Rs or Banshees.
