I'm gettin ready to order tires and don't know what to get. I want to get turf tamers but I don't know how long they will last. I'm gonna be gettin a 20x11x9 so I still have a little clearance. in the rocky mountain atv catalog it says they are 4 ply is this true? I will put that slime stuff in them. my main focus is mx but everyone I ride with rides alot of trails go I want to be able to do that too. so which should I get turf tamers or shredders???/ LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. thanks

I have 18" turf tammers on 8x8 beadlocks. Getting them grooved with alot for the best traction. Turf tammers are a harder tire but dont last as long. My friend just put razrs on his banshee they are 6 ply and have very stiff side walls. I see these tires lasting a long time but they are also alot heavier than the turf tammers.

Look into a set of Rarz's. They get great traction and loose and hard packed surfaces. I run them on all my four-wheelers. They get a little better traction than the Shredders do.

I would also look at the new holeshot tires made for mx. I have Holeshot XCTs and I don't notice them sapping alot of power.
