Hey Everybody! I'm thinking strongly about going to a set of 27" mudlites on my '03 prairie 650 mainly to gain some ground clearance without getting too heavy!! Any feedback from those of you with these tires would be greatly appreciated! I've heard good things from my dealer but I want to hear from actual experienced riders, Thanks in Advance.

I have a 650 with ITP 589's and girlfriend has Rincon with Mudlites. Both 26 inches. She can drive around me in 2 wheel drive while I struggle in 4. I could not believe how those things pull. I'm getting the 28 inch ones for even more ground clearance. Hope they fit with out a lift kit?

Great tires, just do a search under mudlites and you will find some good feedback from other people. I have them and love them, great in mud, smooth on hardpack, and light enough to still be able to jump and play when I want.

Meangreenmudmachine, Those 27's look awesome on your bike! I ordered mine and they'll be on the 650 Friday! can't wait! Oh! one other thing, what are you getting for top end speed with the 27's on? Speed's not a big deal to me but I'm just curious 'cause I'm getting around 63 mph right now.

Lost about 5 or so mph on top end. I think the black spring and the 27's play a part in that. I was (with all stock) getting around 64 or so mph and now about 57-59 mph top end. Which is fine for me because that still outruns all the big bores that I run with anyway.

thanks for the compliment I love them, and everybody thinks that same thing I do.....it makes the 650 look real mean.

Got The 27" mudlites put on Yesterday at the Kawi Dealer....we were impressed just by the way they looked on the bike, But didn't compare to how impressed I was on the trail with these things! Awesome is how I'd describe them. Can't believe the tread on them and the unreal grip it provides, not to mention bringing my ground clearance up about 1 3/4". Best part is, the 650 turns them like 25" stockers. Extremely happy with the purchase....thanks for the advice and the pics MeanGreen!!!

How do they wear? The prairies like to eat tires..... will these satisfy its appetite?

Good point DaRiot! I guess time will tell, I have a pretty light thumb at times I thought! But when the dealer took my Goodyear Mudrunners off in the trade, the back tires were wore down quite a bit! I said that I never came on to the throttle that much but he said that alot of times you don't even know that you're spinning them.....But the guy behind you does Hopefully they'll keep impressing me!

after 300 miles and I ride pretty hard they still have alot of tread left. But most of my riding is on soft dirt or mud not much hard pack per say other than the sandy trails we ride on. If I had to do it over again I would buy them again. Had lots of compliments and they perform top notch. If I wanted a better mud tire I would have bought the outlaws but I like to ride other things beside just mud so they suite me just fine.
