Do many 4-wheelers have a reverse? I am trying to take a 4-wheeler engine and transmission and build a go-kart from it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

if i were you, id use an automatic, chain drive with reverse quad motor.....probly gonna have to go with a polaris....there cheap too..someone familiar with auto quads will have to help you further

Ya,,just about all utility quads will have reverse..and I would go with an automatic...most sports quads with manuals wont have reverse....but your best bet is to go with polaris...king of the utilities...if anything go in that forum and ask
