Titan 589's
#2
I would imagine that a narrower tire would do better in snow. Thats been the case with truck tires and what not, seeing that they center the weight in a smaller surface area and get a better bite. Narrower fronts would perform better than wider. I would think that 589's would do good as long as you kept a fairly narrow front, rather than a 12" mud setup up front. I had the stock 10.5" wide Titan 495's on my 500 and they pushed real bad in snow. Didn't track well at all. I think the narrower Bi Claws I have now would track much better. My cousin had stock Titan 489's and it steered twice as good as the wider 495's that I had this winter. He had the same tire on back as well. Mine were better in the mud but not close in the snow.

Cant tell you (yet) how well the 589's work in the snow, but I can tell you they work GREAT in the mud! I really like mine! I also, am hoping they work ok in the snow! Allthough, here in southern Wisconsin we dont seem to ever get much snow anymore these last few years.
