Default Seating a bead?

on my tires i have just taken a sledge hamer and hit the tire right next to the rim and this pushes the tire in and then it will reposition the bead and then you reinflate it and hopefully it seats if not you try it again. i have tried the ether method and it scared the crap out of me. it singed all of my hairs except my head hair and it even got that a little too. thus i dont do it any more and would not sugest it to anybody

I always remove the valve core to let more air in
and use lots of soapy water

Mucky forgot to mention that you pull the valve core and remove the air chuck from the hose- leaving only the female quick connect. Put the quick connect on the valve stem- air chucks restrict too much air. Has never failed me.
