mud lites on the rear of a sport?

i currently have realtors for mud/snow but thought id try out somthing new.
I had narrowed my decision down to razr II's but coming in @ about 18 lbs its pretty heavy for a medium traction tire. I found that the 22 inch mud lites only weigh 15.8 lbs!
I searched and found mixed results on them... (some say dont work well, some say wear out fast...) i would be using them mainly for snow and sandy/gravel riding parks (the badlands for those of you who know the place)
just wondering if anyone has run them on a sport quad before? what was the performance like? i dont do a lot of mud (if i do its not deep enough to get stuck in, just to cross over small holes and up river banks)
the most important factor to me is the wear characteristics (cant afford to replace them after one season)
how do they do in a mixed terrain environment? i know snow wont do much...but what about gravel/dirt and some rocky terrain?

I saw a kfx 700 piped with 26" mudlites on itp c series this weekend. They really slowed him down. If you arent going to be doing a lot of racing and want traction in some wet stuff, I say go for it. I loved my mudlites on my rancher.

i have mud lites on my trailboss and i love them. i do mostly trail riding and playing in a few sand pits. they were a big improvement over the stock titan 489 especially in the mud. thats what i bought them for because i would easily get stuck in mud. trail riding seams the same and sand riding seams to give me some more traction.

My son has 22" on his warrior and they do a good job in any loose type terrain, not to mention mud and snow. If you get them in the right size they won't slow you down, but be ready for them to hook up.
