Titan 589s
#2
I don't really know how the 589's work but I know that bi and tri claws and Vampires are really really good in the mud. The price difference isn't too much I don't think. I paid $80.00 a piece plus shipping for my 25x13x10 Vampires. Nothing else compares as far as mud tires go. I hope this helps. One last thing, I also have had 489's and they seemed to work decent in the mud and they were extremely smooth riding and steered well too.

Herbert,
You are talking about the 489s the 589s little brother.
The 25-10" 589s beat the 27" Black Waters, all the Goodyear Mud Runners, and 26" Kenda bear Claws, and they tied with the 27-12"(front and rear) Maxxis Mud Bugs. The only tire that beat the 589s were the 27 inch Vampires, the 589s got a 9, out of 10, and the Vampires got a 9.5, out of 10.
I will say this, if Titan makes these in a 26" or bigger size I will get them. If my cat wouldn't have came with 26 inchers, but I don't want to lose ground clearance because I already drag my rear axle in some spots.

Regarding those 589 Titans right now you cant even get them, I have called Titan im not sure how many times and they were going to start a run in mid-october, After calling all over the country I did find one company in WV that had a set but they wouldnt ship them to me here in UT so I talked to a local dealer in Richfield UT who told me he could get some in a week from his distributor in Las Vegas ...well that week turned into a month, and I couldnt wait any longer so I bought some 26" Mudsharks for my 450ES...so what happens the week after I get them??? The dealer from Richfield called to tell me my tires had come in.
According to Titan Tires right now the only size that they are going to come in is 25x10x12 ..but they did tell me they had plans for the 4th qtr of 99 to start production on some 26x9x12 and 26x12x12.
so who knows
