I relize this has probably been covered a million times "which is better...blah or blah...?" I have dug through the archives but did not find the info I was looking for. What I am looking for is the pro's and con's of going to a 26" or 27" (and the different widths) tire on these bikes, and what (in your opinion) is the best tire for mud/hardpack/and a wee bit of pavement. Another question I have is, where is the best place for prices/selection on the web. Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks
Brad

27's in my opinion are for pure mudding harder to handle i have 26 12 12 wich are more towards mud than if you went 26 12 9
in the front which make it easyer to turn when i do it again i will have 9'' wide in the front because all trails arent all mud
also the taller you go the more power you loose just my 2 cents

I have the goodyear mudrunners on my 98 450es, 26-9-12 in the front and 26-12-12 on the rear. I couldn't be happier, they work great and have really increased the capability of my quad.
