I want to run a more aggressive tread on the front of my polaris 500 Xplorer-1997 model. Problem is I have 25s on the rear and the more aggressive tread only comes in 26" or larger.
My question is: Will it cause any problem or damage to run 26" front and 25" rear?

 

If its a 4wd, which I think it is, then yes you very well could do some major damage to your machine.

 

Maddog56 is right. If you have 4wd it will be like having two different gear rations in your diffs... Not good.
