Default Reversed Mud Tires for Snow use?

flipping them around, ( left to right ), so that the tread pattern is reversed does that really work in making them a good snow tire?... Does this make them float insted of digging?

the tires were put on that way for a reason, so i dont think switchin them around is going to do any good, but i havent tried it- i know thats what the Realtors do, forward for mud, backwards for snow, but i dont see it working for all tires--i dont think it will work any better but i have no experience with this so i would like to learn too

I would thing that reversing would make the tires scoop "like a dune tire" as oppossed to digging like a mud tire, exacly what a snow rider doesnt want

mud tires are not good for the snow at all if the snow is deeper than about 6 inches. if the tires are not able to dig untile they hit ground than the last thing you want to do is move alot of snow. i run my factory tires in the snow for this reason. But depending on what tire you are runing flipping them may make some difference. if there is only alittle snow then an aggressive tire is more effective
