What to do for winter???
I need to do something for better traction for my ATV, what should I do. I was thinking I could stud the tires I have but then I will have to buy another set for the summer time. I oculd buy tires set up for snow and/or mud and then I could use those in the summer time also. I don't want to use chains because they can come loose and things like that. Any suggestions?

my friend put studs on his warrior and it works great his studs you just drill them into the tred and you can just take them out when summer comes the only problem is, is don't drive on pavement roads with studs me and him drove about a km and his studs got messed up but he did pull a little burn out other then that they are awesome really good in winter

I have been studding the tires on my quads for years. If the tread on your tires is not real deep use 3/8" shank 1/4" head sheet metal screws. They give you much more traction and are great on the ice. Be careful you don't use screws that will put hole in your tires

well i cant get enough grip to gain speed. on my track i would have no chance to land a jump. i can barlly get enough speed in the summer cuz the jumps are so close and its alot of rithem and if i tried to take the jumps i would probly get stuck going up em.
