Default Mudlight help

Put a set of Mudlights on my ride, found out there not as good in wet sand or creeks than my stock tires are as a matter of fact there worse, in mudd there great. Would lowering the air pressure help any?

The MudLites will dig much more than any stock tire. In my 26's I run between 3.75 and 4.5 lbs.

I also run 4 psi. My problem is that the rear tires are not as tall as the front even though there suppose to be the same size. Will this hurt my bike?
