Sand tires
#1
I know sand tires make a big difference but how much ?
If you have 2 close quads how much distance could sand tires add in 300 to 400 ft drag. I know this cant be exact but a general idea would be helpful.
Did alot of racing today and just trying to get a more general idea on how I compared .

Well if both quads were the same and the riders were the same..The one with paddle will be around 50 foot...If your in fine sand it is kinda hard to get going with stock tires.. and the one with sandtires is going to get out of the hole..And im going to say get 50 foot on the other quad before he gets ontop of the sand and goes..

Thanks that gives me a general idea.
Had 2 quads that appeared to be just bolt on quads like myself but they where running paddles. They could jump out to about 4 quad lengths and I could get back to with in about 2 at the end.

are you running in pure sand or just dirt ? if it is sand drags paddles are a must but in dirt drags 300ft. from experience pro wedge is the only way to go...
