Default Bi/Tri claws

What do you guys think about these tires? I sometimes see ppl running 27/12 Tris all around, do they have heavy steering with the 12's in front? Do they ride smooth on hardpack? Thx

Default Bi/Tri claws

I've had the same 27" Bi/tri combo on the last 2 quads that I've owned since 1999 I belive (may have been 2000). Steers fine (though I wouldn't ever try 12's on the front myself). Good mud tire (on par with any other 27" out there, though I haven't paid any attention to what has come out in the last couple years). Rides pretty good on all surfaces, but in loose dirt they tend to plow rather than grab and go (but I assume any large traction bar style mud tire does that). They've been good tires, and I haven't once wished I had gotten something else, even considering tires that have been introduces since I bought mine. But I also keep stockers around to interchange. If I only had 1 set, I would probably prefer something with less mud capability and better dry dirt traction for all purpose.
