I'm in the process of building a 2 wheeled trail bike with 22-12- low pressure tires, a 270cc honda engine and a torque converter drive coupled to a gear box. HERE in lies the problem !! I cannot seem to locate a gear box. I can go straight from the driven to the rear sprocket and get plenty of torque, but the engine would have to work on top end. I need a box with hi-lo-reverse and even neutral. Not a trans,but a gear box. Something similar to a rokon or ecorider. A polaris 2x4 box would work but a very tough task in machine work,weight, and limited space ! I have spent weeks looking !! I hope someone out there can help . I have owned and worked on atvs and motorcycles for 40 of my 56 years and have never been stumped this bad !! Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated !
