Studded Tires???
#12
you could save yourself a gallon of fix a flat if you stick with studs that are 3/4 in. or shorter, depending on the **** thickness. when you buy screws from the hardware store its hard to find ones that will cut into the ice. buy the wrong ones and you may have less traction on the ice. just remember riding on anything but ice will greatly reduce stud life!! dennis kirk.com sells studs if you want to look at some.

Just did up my stock Rhino tires for plowing and the lake ice. I used sheet metal screws because a buddy of mine installs ducting and gets em free from work. If you're going to buy them, don't get the self-tapping ones. I used about 260 per tire.
