Sand tires working as snow tires?

they're not sand tires but i got Carisle Stryker tires on the rear of mine.it does good in snow up to about 7"deep.then i turn the tires around backward "left side tire on the right side and vice versa"had it in 18" of snow. no problems going got hung up a time or two

Alright thanks guys. I'm from PA so the snow doesn't get too deep. Right now I have the stock tires on it, and I just bought some Maxxis Razr II's, but I haven't had a chance to ride em yet, I will see how those do. I don't want to spend the extra money on a set of paddle tires if I don't have to.
