I said the truck has the same size motor but it(being the whole truck) has been upgraded a bit.

It has the power sliding window(upgraded from stock) full leather(upgraded from stock)Infinity lighting system(upgraded from stock)it has a heavier duty tranny for hard shifts(upgraded from stock)and it has a stiffer suspension(upgraded from stock). It has a slightly different fuel programming for speed over economy, that doesn't change the stock rev limiter... By the way, that's upgraded from stock. All that is part of the Conversion Package. Don't ask me why they call it the police interceptor...but they do.

Right now he's trying to do a search for the engines that were put in Silverado's. Give him some time because with only one or two results it'll take a while. But earlier he said he had the 4.8. I think that engine makes 295 hp and 305 lb.-ft. of torque. Very low on torque if you ask me. Your engine Stoopidbot should have with the mods you listed about 250hp and about 300ft/lb tq.In a drag race with your truck being lighter (about 4100lb vs his 6300lb)you would win a drag race. The average times I seeing out of a '97 F150 is right around 15.5. Thebest I'm seeing out of a Silverado with the 4.8 is 16.7.
