WOOPS Correction i think they wieght more than that more like 27 to 28 Lbs each

does anyone know the weight or around good guess of what the tire weight is for a 99 500 sportsman??? this weight i will know what im going off of.

 

I bet there some where around 30Lb to 38Lb's with the rim.

 

Which Mud lites?

XXL = Hardcore mudding but will vibrate your teeth filling out on packed trails.

XL= Not bad trail riding but with above average mudding performance.

AT= General all condition riding with above average trail behavior.

I like the XL because when there half worn out they still look like new ATs. Double the milage[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

All the tire weights are listed on the ITP website. You cant go wrong with the ITP product. High quailty. The hard part is selecting a tire that best suits your needs. The majority of aftermarket tires I see on the trail are the Mud Lite XTRs.

Size note - my ITP Terracross were true to size. I highly recomend the Terracross. Smooth on hard pack, good in mud, sand and rocks. Designed for Razors so it is quite a tough tire. The XTR is more agressive so it will be slighly better in the mud but you will sacrifice ride quality.

 

The ITPs were 6 lbs heavier than the stock tire - rear and 4 lbs heavier than the front stockers. I cant tell any difference in power. A huge improvement in traction and handling.

I have 4 ITP Mudlites for sale. (2) 28x12x12 and (2) 28x10x12. They have only been ridden on 3 short rides and never on pavement. There are no holes plugs or anything wrong with them. They have about 95% tread left or better. I have pictures as well. If interested email me at hjlancas@olemiss.
