just ordered some Sedona 26' rip saws for my sportsman 600, anyone run these yet? i should have them rolling by wed next wed and will have pics and a review soon

just mounting them on my stock rims, so no bling.

 

My buddy actually got a set for his can am utv and says he loves them i know the side wall is pretty stiff and they look nice I am thinking of getting a set for my Terys but keep us posted on how you like them thanks!!

 

tire size and fitment

i just got them mounted but didn't get out on trails. i had to flip tie rods on my sportsman to get front tires on as i used my stock rims .but now its all good no rubbing with 26x9 fronts and 26x10 rears on 6 inch and 8 inch wide rims.
these arent 26 tall and they fall 1/8-1/4 shy of their labelled width and height after my 760lb sportsman sits on them @3psi. so far i just drove it around on pavement/ dirt shoulder for a bit to be sure alignment was good.

first impressions

was actually shocked at how much better it handled. these tires steer twice as easy as stock carlisle act tires, and ATV turns noticeably sharper at low speeds, rolls smooth on pavement, again better than stock.
ride is firmer on sedonas at 3psi that carlisles at 13lbs. and the added weight didn't really slow down my 600 twin according to my *** dyno.if anything, the extra weight seemed to have made clutch engagement smoother

im hoping they dont disappoint when i hit the bush with these

 

okay well i hit the trails today and did a lot of rocky trail, and crossed a few swamps with beaver dams.

i rode with my bro who runs an outty max 800 on 27 mud lite xtr's.

these sedonas came through mud with less effort than the ITP's. where he had to rock back and forth to get through i went in one shot. these have awesome reverse traction and the treads do clean real well although i wear a lot more now.
on hard pack they steer effort less and now i have over steer instead of understeer with factory tires. also bump steer has been lessened slightly

I didnt lose any top end, dut did lose a tiny bit of mid range power.

so far we were both impressed with them. surprised by mud performance of an all terrain tire,neither of us expected it to keep up

 

Thanks for the information on your tires. They look like they have good tread on them but you never know how they'll handle until you try it.

 

I have them on my 06 brute force, And they go great, Have'nt been stuck with the 1 1/8 in lugs, I'v got 5psi in mine thats a little high but im on gravel roads alot, I'v been in mud up to the floor broads and they just keep spinning me out. They handle really good, I'v had them up to 50 mph. and my rear Axel is slightly bend. Best $389.00 I'v spent.
