qj wilderness 250 trans fix
#1
i got a qj 250 for a trade ,the only thing is the trans was in a buckett when i got it,couldent find a trans nowhere, after looking at the parts, i found out all of the parts i needed was right there, just putting it out there, take the gear that goes on the trans shaft and the gear for the outer shaft, make shore they are true and weld the clogs togather, will need to put up in place and mark then cut both shafts (reanson 2 long)after that is done put the chin and the part on ,in the gears is 1 that has a rollar berring that fits in it,what i did i took a pice of angle iron and welded the gear with the berring on it and then weleded the angle iron to the frame, this will make the shaft have something on the out side so the shaft wont bend, ben driving it every day,the only bad side of it it has no reverse, new to the wed site wont to put pic up of it but dont know how,
