tri bi claws and mudbugs.
#1
Im wanting to get new tires and im thinking about putting tri claws on the back and mudbugs on the front. I dont like tires that dig mainly because i ride in sand and swamp mud that there is no bottom you just sink.
would this be a good idea or should i just get tri bi combo?

Get the Tri/Bi combo. No reason to mix it up. Great mud tire, true to size, and the only place I didn't like mine was in loose dirt & leaves in the woods. I bought the set I had in 1999 or 2000 and had them on old ITP Delta steel rims. Kept them on 2 different quads and would swap them out with stockers from time to time so they weren't ridden at all times. Sold them and the wheels to a guy last year for $200. Never was a fan of the Mudbug design. Probably an ok tire, but there are just better options out there for probably the same money. Back when I actually rode around mud a little I didn't have much to compare to, but most guys had 589's. They do not compare. At all.
A lot of new tires out there now to pick from, but I would imagine the Claws can still hold their own.

I like thye maxxis zillas, there 6 ply,1.19" lug and the lightest tire in there class and with a great price.
Look up there specs a 26"x11 Zilla weights the same as a smaller thinner 25"x10 Mudlite XL .Maxxis ATV Tires : ATV Mud Tires : Maxxis Zilla : Maxxis Mudzilla : Maxxis Big Horn
