Front Differential Clutch Output Shaft Bearing Removal
Hey guys,
I have an 08 Sportsman 800 HO that I'm trying to replace the bearings and seals in it's front differential. I was wondering if anybody has any pointers on how to remove the bearing from the clutch output shafts. There's so little space in between the bearing and the clutch that a separator won't fit, along with other styles of bearing pullers. If worse comes to worse I'll use a slide hammer with vice grips, but I don't won't to tear up the bearing in the process. Cutting off what remains could damage the clutch! What do you guys suggest?
