RIMS....ITP or Douglas?
#2
I'd get the douglas. They are stronger. I had a set of ITP .190's and they got real beat up real easily. My friend races with douglas .190's and he's had them for a couple years. He doesn't take it easy on those rims either.

I have a good story about rims. I had a set of douglas .190 rear on my R, with a set of 18x11x8 tamers. I jumped the 90 foot table top at our local SX track, and had a bit of a rough landing. It bent my wheels almost double over and they were trashed. They bend very easily though. They were bent before that. They bend so easily. I bought a set of ITP .190 fronts with some Holeshot MXs. The first time i raced them, after i got done my front wheels looked like flowers. They were bent in numerous places all around the wheels. Both front tires came off them too. I have had the most horrible luck with wheels and tires here lately. If i were you i would go ahead and shoot for the race wheels with reinforcing rings, or beadlocks. I went ahead and sprang for the douglas ultimate beadlocks. They are awesome. I would definately get something more than .190s. Especially for racing. Thats just my story and my .02.

Douglas rims are made in USA. ITP's are made is Asia somwhere. The finish holds up better on the Douglas rims also. I have both ITP and Douglas, and will never buy ITP again. Douglas all the way. (Unless you're loaded, then get the HiPer Carbon Fiber beadlocks.)
