has neone ever heard of rubber chains? i was at the track yesterday and some guy told me he runs flattrack with a banshee on alcohol and has so much horsepower that he has to run a rubber chain because he would snap a steel chain. well i run a stainless chain on my drag banshee on alcohol and i think that burnt dumba$$ is full of sh*t

Brokemy -
that just reminded me about one of my friends I havn't seen in a while. One time he told me he just rode some dirtbike but it had more power since they put a powerband in it. That kid had no idea what he was talking about. That kid had more bs than a farm.

I think he may have been refering to a belt. Some use the same type of driveline a snowmobile uses. Wide belt and a belt clutch. They have more tensile strength than any chain.

crhye250R, since you have Jeremiah Jone's A Arms, you should get one of his used silver bands. See, gold bands inject too much premix, therefore your bike runs rich. Even if you downsize jets, it still runs too rich! But, if you run a silver band, it won't affect the jetting. I have ran several dyno's on silver, and gold powerbands.. The silver puts out 96.5 HP on a stock Raptor, while the gold only puts out 98.2. The silver is also 15 dollars cheaper. While i'm getting my a arms, i'll get you a silver.. Free of charge, only pay B&S
