I just bought a 1999 Arctic Cat 3004X4. I seem to be having a little problem. When the engine gets warm it idles very high. When I first start it up and get the choke off it is fine. The idle speed goes up as the engine warms. If I put the choke to about 1/3 when it is warm the idle speed stays down. I didn't get a manual with the bike, so I don't know where to start. I hate to take it in to the dealer, which is 50 miles away, if I can just adjust something myself. Any suggestions would be appreciated

It sounds like your choke cable is binding and/or out of adjustment.

Just curious, Steve, did you ever get your problem solved?

Where did you get it? Schutt's in Jamestown or Cycle City?
