I was in the local auto parts store today and I happened to notice some of those little "wedges" that you put in your coil springs to give them more lift. Would it be okay to use them on a quad to give a bit of a lift, and if so will it prove beneficial? I just put some 25"'s on my Honda 300 and I'd like a little more clearance between the rubber and the fenders.

Bad idea! I've tried that on my 4Runner and it caused a pressure point and bent the coil in one spot. Might not be as bad on an ATV, cuz it doesn't weigh that much, compared to a SUV. If you can find the rubber/fiberglass ring, cut it down to fit, it would probably work better than the little aluminum wedges. The ring should slide in the coils and stay put. Good luck, Chris
