I want a tire for my p650 that rides relatively smooth on hardpack but will blow "stock tires" away in mud and hill climbing. I would be happy with either of these 3 tires but wich one hooks up best on hardpack?

Bear Claws! The cheapest 6-ply tire that you can't hurt. Excellent in mud and snow, loose packed rock and hard packed trails. The ones I had on my quad had 2 years on them and were like new.

Mudrunners or Goodyear Rawhides is my vote. I have owned both and the Bearclaw is Ok but not near the quality of the Goodyear. I would also lookat the ITP/TITAN 589.

Hey trailburner, what size did you put on it? And did you use the stock wheels?

Pilot,

I put on 26" front and back on my stock wheels and they run awesome. No wobbling handelbar at high speeds or anything. They really surprised the heck out of me when I found they didn't seam to take any takeoff power away. It will still wheely without hesitation.

My signature says that I have the black spring in aswell. I don't yet! It's still sitting in the bag it came in. I still am planning on putting it in for belt life more than anything because I sure don't need it to make up for any lost power I thought the Bear Claws would cause.

Just a side note; THEY LOOK AWESOME!

Thanks for the info and I'm glad you like 'em. Tires do make a big difference on how mean a quad looks!
