Default Good mud tires for my ATV???

For the $$ you can't beat Mud Bugs, my bud has them on the same bike as yours, a Quadrunner 500, be sure you get proper size for stagger, he runs 26" front & 27" rears, I Know, I know, your originals are 25's front & rear but if you measure them you'll find the 25" fronts are no-where near 25" tall, while the rear are!!

cat500i what would you consider to be the best mud tire out there without comprimising a lot of trail performance, or smooth ride I'll call it. I currently have goodyear mudrunners on my vinson but my prairie is only a couple of weeks old and I'm still trying to decide what sneakers to put on it! what would you suggest? stay with mudrunners or go with something else??

You would never think it by looking at them, but the vampires have one of the smoothest rides out there. By comparison, the Outlaws will rattle you to death on hardpack. I haven't tried the 589's but I here alot of good stuff about them. My choice for a smooth riding mud tire would be super swamper vampires.

Had Vamps on my 454 AC loved them but I got the rad outlaws on my priarie they are awsome haven't had them in the mud yet but as far as I am concerned trail riding and in the snow the rads are very smooth they ride and handle as well as stock and are alot more aggresive I have gone places in 2wd that I had a hard time with my arctic cat 4wd,but either tire is very good the only drawback on the rads is they are about 20 dollars more per tire but they are worth it in my book

My Mudbugs have 1 3/8" deep lugs on it so I wouldn't say that they don't have deep lugs. The best thing about them and gators is that they have a really spread out tread pattern so they clean really well. I would reccomend eitheir although the mudbugs are a little lighter. Both are 6 ply. I am not a fan of 589's. The tread face on them is not as wide as some of the other mud tires and they tend to dig holes rather than ride on top of the slop from my experiences.
