mudlites, mudbugs or 589's.....any suggestions?
#1
putting some new tires on my grizz and I've narrowed it down to mudlites, mudbugs or 589's in 26-10-12 front and 26-12-12 rear. Anyone have any suggestions or personal experience with these tires? Most of my riding is on trails but when I get in the mud I usually bury it pretty deep.

Yamahaguy,
I have a 2001 wolverine with 25-10-12 titan 589's all around. I do alot of riding in many different terrains (trails, mud, swamps, and hills). I have had the tires for a year and absolutely love them. They are very light weight and have a great tread pattern. I don't think you can go wrong with 589's.

I've got 26" MudBugs and think there great. Going to put 26" DirtDevils on my daughters Eiger. They're all good for what you say you ride, don't get into the forumnitis and go back and for to long confusing yourself over them. The only thing bad I've heard and don't know first hand thou is the MudLites have a weaker sidewall that could fatigue and a softer rubber tread so they will wear out faster. ? on truth in those statements, but that's how they get them lighter. Good luck

I have 26x10 and 26x12 Mud Bugs on my Foreman 450ES and can say that from experience that they are an excellent tire. Not to sure how they will be for steep hill climbing but in the mud and snow they are awesome.

MudBugs climb pretty good, never had problems as long as your in 4wd other wise they dig. My dislike is 45 +mph they really shake the bars. Maybe going to 4# of air will help from 5
