I know somebody that uses them, but he said he won't reply until you post here one more time.

I use them on my 400ex for mx only when the track is real muddy. The hookup great with little or no pushing, but they add quite a bit of unsprung weight to the front end (mine are 6 ply). I use the grooved car tires like the pros use 90% of the time.

Any stiff walled low flexing skinny tire would be good. The smaller the diameter the better, because it lowers the quad to the ground. As for bandits I have not seen the tire around on the track. I have seen the fast treeker used. I used Kumho radials that are grooved. I like the way they steer and do not flex in the corners however they where not cheap.

The best thing to do is have a set of tires for the track and another set for the trails. I do, as does most of the racers I know. My track tires are small and soft but my trails tires are taller and harder.
