Children to be muzzled in the dunes
#31
i just got back from florence on Wednesday.. me and a large group of people, they FINNALLY got showers in there!! YES! but now they made the parking spaces smaller.. and we had an RV and a jeep, plus two sandrails, and three 3-wheelers. Horrible! one night i went out and i lost all power in my sandrail, we had a friend go back and get the other rail (no lights at all) and he started towing us back.. then two quads came along the side of us and we saw it was 2 forest rangers.. they gave us light all the way back to camp (i thought it was extremely nice of them) and they didnt seem to care that the other rail had no exaust packing (it fell out in the dunes) and also had no lights.. And never noticed i was underage hahaha, But then some of those guys are just mean as heck! he yelled at us cause our jeep had 1 front tire on the sand in our camp ground.

personally, i think it's awesome that kids r loud, i'm 15 myself and bein quiet at 10 at night so u old guys can sleep just sucks. also, i like to beleive that loud pipes save lives. if u can't see a person, at least u can hear them. my quad was tested at 92Db so everybody knows when i'm around.

i think young kids should be allowed to stay up as late as they want, as long as they get up nice and early the next day, so they can enjoy all that sunshine staying up until 3 in the morning and then getting up at noon is a waste of a good ride weekend.

I'm with you Sandman. I stay up pretty late BSing, drinking beer, and having a good time but you can do that at home. I go to the dunes to ride and by about 7am I'm up scarfing breakfast and getting the bikes ready to go out for a rip. If you stay up later than me more power to ya, I'm not gonna b!T(h that your making noise but when I fire my bike up at 7:30 you better not either.

that's me i was in the marine corps and if you let a little noise keep you awke you would have a bad life, so i figure more power to them on staying up, plus they tought me about staying up around the clock there so if they want to stay up we can stay up all night and all day, plus part of the next night, it's funny the only ones that want to stay up all night are the ones that don't have to get up for any thing. the funny thing is the young ones think we never stayed up late.
