KGB, LTSRFASTER and jstaguy24.. thanks for the replies....
I may pass thru Utah on the drive back from Glamis to MN during April. I think I should time it for a
stop at Sand mountain during a busy weekend.
I'll have to do some reading about the ride area and coordinate my work schedule for a possible stop
to enjoy that area .. maybe a couple of days riding.
Thanks,
Mike (aka FAST1)

I haven't been to Glamis, but I've seen lots of photos. I have been to St Anthony's Idaho. Choke Cherry Hill is over 600ft tall. This is official from the BLM on location. My 400EX wouldn't climb it. A Z400 barely made it. the new YFZ450 made it with no problems. A stock Banshee can do it, as well as a stock predator.
Nearbye KillPecker Dunes in Wyoming, north of Rock Springs has short steep hills, and it's also 10,000 acres like St. Anthony. My 400EX could climb the 2nd and 3rd steepest hills, but not the tallest. (there was no place to build up any speed)
Glamis has the largest amount of sand, 70,000 acres but I'm fairly sure they don't have the tallest. A guy would have to go to all the places with a GPS to really know for sure.
