There is one answer to your questions, DrZero. DS650

I get bolder every time I read one of these threads and somebody goes recommending something totally inappropriate. This thread was going good. People were telling about the YFZ's quickness, the Predator's handling, the Raptor's torque, and the no-time-wasted-shifting with a V-Force. Those are worth reading. A post recommending a 15 year old quad when the question specifically was about "current crop" machines is not.
I rarely post in threads about which quad to get, and when I do, I usually recommend the DS, and I try to show a little enthusiasm. The DS is what I know. In this case, it was an entirely appropriate response. If I recommend it sometime that is just way out of line (like "what's the best quad for tight wooded trails and deep mud?"), I hope somebody would call me on it.
There is another thread or two where I recommended the Honda 250ex, and I've recommended the 400ex in the past.
I only made the comment about YFZ owners because you guys are stuck with a few bad apples who think their quad can do 4.6 second 300 yard drags right out of the box.

yea, that would be awesome, looking to get a brand new one otd for 6G anyone know how far glamis is from san diego anyway? i've heard 2 hours...
i believe its roughly 180-190 miles from my in north county San Diego. It takes about 3 hours to get there and the drive is not that bad at all. considering that distance to Glamis and the beautiful weather in Diego, I wouldnt live anywhere else.

HA2, are the red sticker regulations the same at Glamis? I'm pretty sure it is a state regulation but I'm not sure. If I can get up the confidence to take on the maintenance of a 2-stroke, I want to get a Banshee. I'm not mechanically inclined and have been learning very slowly on the 4 strokes so I might just stick with the YFZ. I wanna be able to ride year round though.
