A hillshooter, dragracer, cruiser and mom all have a tire that works best for them.
I know what you mean about a paddle tire flame fest, that's why I'm trying to get this thread to be strictly numbers. If you feel that your tire was made by God himself, give it all 5's for all I care. Lets just keep this strictly numbers.

As for being objective, yes, everyone has their own riding style, but with the number of people on here, it should be a pretty random sample, and hopefully the numbers will average out. When it's all done, I'll stick it all in a spreadsheet and post the results.

This may seem a little ****, which I suppose it is, but I think it will be a lot more informative and objective than the previous "my tire is better than yours" threads.

Maybe you could classify the tires by recreational, high speed cruising, drags, hillclimbing. Just a thought.

i run the sand shark V paddles. i air them down to about 0.75-1 PSI and they hook up better than my friend's straight paddles. plus i can turn easier, and with the lower PSI, it makes it easier to slide the back when i want to.

hey 97redbanshee,
Thanks for the info. I want to get a set-up almost exactly like yours. I like the lack of use of a spacer plate. Makes it stealth (stroker) and less chance for an air leak. I plan on doing this in about 6 months or less. I will give Bill a call as soon as i am ready. I could use those dyno numbers since i am in the same neighborhood at 245 Lbs. Thanks man.

How does more traction make powerslides easier?

I hit Glamis this weekend with my new Sand stars compared to V-paddle trakkers.

Brand/Model: sand star
Weight: <In pounds (lighter than the trakker)>
# paddles: <8>
Paddle Height: <20-11-10>
Longevity: <Don't know yet>
Turning ability: <3>
Powerslide Abilty: <2>
Straight line accelleration: <4>
I was not able to roost people with power slides like I was with the trakkers but it hooked up like crazy, front wheels where off the ground the hole way up olds. Greatly improved drag racing abilty!

Brand/Model: <The Trakker>
# paddles: <8>
Paddle Height: <20-12-10>
Longevity: <4>
Turning ability: <5>
Powerslide Abilty: <5>
Straight line accelleration: <3>
Great for messing around in the dunes but I'm glad I made the switch, The sand stars through huge roost and hookup just like a hualer.
