St Anthony

I was there April 3rd. Still snow on the north sides of the hill near the top that is covered by sand. It makes for an interesting climb!.
Choke Cherry is screwed up bad!, but should be in shape by the time you get there.

hey Kodiak I was there too. Stayed in the BLM camp. Choke Cherry has that nice little extra razor a few feet back from the top, and a hair of snow just under the surface at the top, but heck my 12 year old was climbing it repeatedly so it's really not too bad. The dunes were great though, we got wind hard on friday night and they were smoooooth. Good time to go.
I picked up a backpack full of beer can and water bottle litter on a short ride. I would encourage anybody riding St Anthony to just pick up a few things on a ride or two, and help us to keep it open. Those dunes won't be open forever if we don't maintain them, and some trash pig people will always have to be picked up after.
