Has anyone been to Juniper Dunes in eastern WA

If its closer for you to drive to the Oregon dunes, then don't bother with Juniper. I live about 25 minutes away and ride there all the time. Its fun, and I'm glad I have sand so close, but its nothing compared to Oregon. The area is much smaller than the Oregon dunes, although its still decent sized. The sand tends to be dusty, and most dunes arent half the height of Oregon dunes. There's also Moses Lake north of here, but I haven't ventured up there yet. Also there's Beverly dunes just south of Ellensburg. I've been there and its much smaller than Juniper. Has lots of little jumping areas but thats about all. No good drag race hills at either, although Juniper has a fairly flat drag area, or really short hill drags. Like I said, its always fun because its a chance to ride, but can't compare to Florence, Winchester, or Coos.

I like going to Oregon just so someone else has to pump my gas!
It's good for the economy too! Unemployment would sure benefit from it!

Juniper Dunes kinda suck if you have to drive far. I went there and wasn't very impressed as there arn't any hills a Blaster couldn't make it up. I took my Blaster but mostly rode my 380 MXC (KTM Dirtbike) The auctual dune areas are very small and are surrounded by whooped out trails thru the sage and you have to ride these trails to get to the different dune areas. There is one popular drag area that is maybe 1/3 mile long and it's slight up hill and it's easy to find just listen for the loud bikes making one drag run after the other all day long.
I didn't find much for decent jumps either, usually a flat landing or no runway or no stopping areas or the sand is too silty.
Moses Lake is even worse, there is more open sand at moses lake but the hills are only about 15 feet tall. Moses Lake prolly has better drag areas though. I also didn't like the sand at moses lake, if I remember right it was volcanic sand and was very coarse. I usually go here once a year for a very early spring ride as the snow stays much longer at my house.
This year I plan on taking a trip to Idaho for dunes. I hear the hills there are huge! Looking forward to St. Anthonys this spring.

If you've never been to St. Anthony, you are going to absolutely LOVE it!!
Several of the dunes are several hundred feet tall, and go for miles!!!!
That is one of my favorite places to go ride!!
