dabeechman, My 01 is a plane ol toomied Banshee with a plain ol coolhead. AS Specified. My 94 has had many years of modifications. The alky part of it can go both ways with the switch of my domes. High octaine fuel with 19cc domes or 16cc for alky. Oh yea I have Toomies for it along with the drag pipes. I choose to run the toomies on it cause there more stable & easy to get thru the knuckleheads at Glamis on the big weekends. I have the old style sst's that stick outwards. There loud as heck to.
I'm not big on braggin bout what I got . There is always someone who has something bigger, better, faster. the 01 is my dependable riding rig. The Alky is for the big trips. Its a pain to keep tunin from 85° days to 43° nights.

you run gas and alk through the same carbs? Not sure how you are doing that if your alk carbs are setup like they should be. But who knows hm.

 

No, I have two sets of Kehiens. One for methanol and the other 2 for gas. Good bust. I use my 87 banshee overflow bottle for purging (Blew it up in 91 @ oldsmobile). Its not a pretty quad (my 94). Its functional and fast enough for me. the 01 is for plane ol riding.
You got a nice ride there in the pics. It sucks when they outlaw areas to ride or even worse. Like you can still ride there but if your too loud site you for being to loud.
My next adventure will include a Sand Limo or equal. Before they outlaw those too.
