Had some mods done so I am still in a break-in mode. Don't want to hit the sand yet.
Going to the track up at Lake Elsinore tomorrow. Hope to be at Gordons for part of Turkey weekend.
If I was a betting man I would say you wont have the dunes to yourself but should be a great weekend.
Have fun.

I'll be there on Thursday night to keep a long tradition of 21 years of Gordons dune riding in tact!!! Actually if you tally the time my grandfather has gone there is translates into 46 years since he started "duning" in 1958!!! Keeping the family tradition alive and well.
Take a look at the white/green ex in my sig and keep an eye out for it (It should have some type of graphics on it by then). I'll be at the drags, Test, Patton, etc.

If there are I'm not aware of them....haven't been in there a while as the owner banned one of my buddies for life because he thought he was someone else he had banned before. I might check it out this weekend.
I have seen some pics from a 1960 trip with him and his buddies in the dunes on their old "water pumpers" It looked like a scene from American Graffiti, Greaser hair, white t-shirts with the pack of smokes in the sleeves, bomber glasses, the cuffed levis and black boots. Not to mention the rides, bare frames painted black with the seat pushed to the rear and dual car tires in the rear painted red with chrome moonie hubcaps. It looks sweet! If I can get a copy made I will post it.
They are also working to restore an old Super 8 film they took there. It was of course a "silent film" which adds to the coolness.
