if you got a fresh dirt tire you will do fine at moses, although a paddle tire is cheap and would be preffered

Well to ride in sand, the best tip is probly keep your momentum and rpms up, because if you dont your tires will get stuck and you will kindve like sink, no biggy tho.

I am not familar with your riding area but have spent a decent amount of time in the sand on a dirt bike.I ride ap pismo dunes once a year and have been there approx 25-30 times. A paddle tire will make the experience about 10 times more fun and make the dirt bike easier to ride. A 200 would definitely be helped by a paddle tire. I would not even consider going to the sand with out one any more and I ride my 500 there. Years ago we go and my son is on his yz80 no paddle tire. He struggles to just move let alone get any air off of a dune. Next year we get him a paddle tire and he now can go anywhere and is getting major air off of dunes he couldnt make it up the year before.
