Scooter, Thought you would play in the mud!
But, there again we don't have our rigs stuck at the dunes
and don't have to clean up the muck left by the pad or lease roads.
(no permanent stains in the paint job and under carriage covered in what
will dry to rock hardness)
The trailer is not covered with road grime.
It has been raining here for days. Loving it!
Hope everyone at Kermit packed their rain gear and a jacket (bullet proof or windbreaker)!!
Although we strongly considered riding...we still have no desire to go to Kermit Sandhills.
I sure miss the old park with PAVED parking, open/free riding and trash pick up...but can't blame
the county for tearing it up so no one else can make money off all thier hardwork. (snicker)
I know the center of the lot would be flooded to 3 ft. deep in the middle of the old lot
and the frogs would keep you up at night...but it WAS awesome!!

Went to the secret place on Saturday. Spent an hour setting up canopies and then wondered why??? Sprinkled a few times but was mostly just perfect riding weather. Beautiful day!

Also tried the mini on a Klotz race fuel mix! Ran like a bat outta....but what's the point??? Couldn't get the kid out of a $300 dollar go-cart.

Anybody want to buy a rocket mini?

Seriuosly considered taking it out, but got sidetracked by a 2 year old. Think that was more of a workout anyway.

Nice to have the rain, could have been a little bit more, but thankful for what we got. It's a given that the next weekend is a "me" weekend, so if it's not raining, I'm riding.

So, I take it the cart worked fine in the sand. Seems like Hannah is the same way. Set all of her riding toys out in the yard, and eventually she ends up in the 2 dollar car I got at a garage sale.

Nope, they never got off the lease roads. It wouldn't have made it 10 feet.

Well, at least you didn't have to go push 'em out.

Well, I had a goooood time - loved the weather- wish it stayed that way all year round. Drank enough for you too DD

All the "mud" washed off on the way home

Heck, I'm ready to go back Friday, d@mn dunes are perfecto!!!!

The vegetation has really grown up too all through the dunes - It's definately noticeable that traffic has almost ceased to exist out there for the majority of this year. Dang cows almost didn't recognize us.

wait....I said cow.....that made me have a flashback!

I miss her!!!

The wives ganged up on me this weekend and made fun of my paradise. I think they should stay at home next time and have supper ready when we return. lol! There were white flowers all over. Usually everything looks like weeds out there, but these, I really thought about digging some up and bringing them home to plant.
